salams, u know ummsara. right now im in the same situation & this is going on for 3 yaers '' i want a 2nd wife'' i hear for 3 years i didnt happent yet but i feel its closed. i believe divorse it a very bad thing. but i have same opinon with u. that one should be a good muslim first to have that right. if im not happy with my husband already for his short coming, why on top of that i should get involved with somthgn more that will not make my marriege happy. now he wants to be more religion so can get remarried & so i dont leave him. i agree with olso wat is man doing to improve his family in islam to improve society in islam.....nothign. all they think is weman. i reading a lot but i dont know why i dont find any hadiths that talk about us in this situation...... it seams that maybe its not important wat we are going throuw. Allah forgive me. hearing from u soon. iman
