As salamu alaikum from my experience, marrying for the sake of the children is not always going to work. you need to have more than that for a marriage to work. my dh re married his ex wife to keep his family together, but it was a disaster. she got pregnant and they divorced. now he has 3 children with her and they do not see their father because she moved so far away. make sure you have the right intentions in your heart. the same for your first wife.
