As'salaamu Alaikum, first let me rind all of us insha'Allah that we are to give the greetings of the believers to one another. Second let me remind us that we are requireed to obey Allah first and formost, adn then to obey the Messenger [sallahu alayhe was sallam] second and to follow is Sunnah. Also let me remind us that many of us came to Islam from jahaliyyah [ignornce] and kufir[disbelief] and we had no problems with out boyfirends having other women. But when we came into Islam we then get upset becuase our husbands what to PRESERVE their chaisty and take on another wife, Masha'Allah. I'm not going to lie to anyone yes I would be upset, feel betryed etc., but we must rmember Allah created the man to desire more than one women, even scientist express this on their shows. But they explain it as evelution and the man wanitning to spread his dna, etc. But htis is how Allah created man, and the Prophet [sallahu alayhe was sallam] has said he has not left a greater fitnah for man than the woman. And the man finds every aspect of the woman attractive. And tell me this, would you more rather have your husband commit ZINAH whish is HARAM, and take a girlfird Authobuillah, or take the HALAL road and get a second wife. And he is safeguarding his currant family int he process Alhumdulillah. Allah has wisome in EVERYTHING no matter if we understadn it or not, and just because its illegal in the US doesn't mean we abandon it. This is a major problem with the Muslims here, we are so quick to stop practicing the Sunnah and try to conform to the "sandards" of the kufar, authobillah.
