asalaam alaikum, i have two wives. they each have one of my two children. it was sort of assumed by my second wife and her family that i left my first wife to marry the second. but i did not. nor was it a condition of the second marriage. my first marriage had become very difficult, hence the second marriage. i am only undertaking to stay with both wives because they each have one of my children. i am doing it for the children and to please Allah. i am about to break the news to my second wife that i am taking the first wife back. she already knows about the second wife and is pretty relaxed about things. she is only glad her daughter will insha'allah have her father. any advice on what to do how to handle this and what the second wife may do?
